Stylistic Influence: This section begins the double-time swing feel that Schnyder uses until the end of the movement. The 16th-note rhythms are played as fast 8th-note lines would be played in an up-tempo swing chart. Techniques like the glissandos in m. 64, the syncopation in m. 65 and the scoop in m. 66 keep the piece rooted in jazz.
